On 3 March, we celebrate the Earth's wildlife, its diversity and its contribution to our lives and the health of our planet on a day dedicated to wildlife, World Wildlife Day.

The motto of this year's World Wildlife Day is " Working together for wildlife conservation", as effective wildlife conservation requires the combined efforts of many different actors, where individual efforts are as important as cooperation at community, national and international level. But what is it that we treasure so much?

To mark Wildlife Day, we have selected examples of the diversity of wildlife from the wildlife camera photos we have collected over the years to give you a brief insight into the everyday lives of local wildlife. The moments captured in these photos are small details of the rich world we celebrate today.
