Our Foundation invites applications for volunteer work in the summer children's nature camp in Békáspusztán, organised jointly with the Csányi Foundation between 13-18 August 2023.
During the camp, a total of 12 children in grades 5-8 will learn about the conservation importance of hunting, working with hunters, and will have the opportunity to study different bird species and wetland values through hands-on experience, as well as participate in a fishing demonstration. In addition to the demonstrations organised by our professional partners, we will also organise our own activities for children, with the aim of raising awareness, strengthening their individual and deeper connection with nature, developing their teamwork skills through the tools of nature, and giving them the opportunity to express their creative spirit inspired by nature. The aim of this competition is to find an enthusiastic volunteer to work with us to help children develop their knowledge of nature through experiential learning.
We're counting on you throughout the camp:
- supervising the children throughout the camp,
- during night duty (according to a pre-arranged schedule),
- an afternoon two-hour professional programme,
- helping a small team of three campers work together,
- your active participation in the different activities and games.
What we provide for you:
- accommodation during the whole camp,
- five meals a day,
- the possibility to claim travel expenses,
- participation in the camp programmes.
